Come outside to find this. Hopefully someone did this for more then a stack of quarters. Bedstuy style. Reminds me of the time someone threw a brick through my rear window, yet stole nothing. Sometime between 7pm and 9pm. Ft Greene style. Brooklyn, stand up!

Smashed It - Vol.3
"How fast am I?"
"Is this even legal?"
"Sweet Judis!"
Those are some of the things that went through my mind.
This morning was a gorgeous one. PERFECT cool temperature before a ripping hot day, heavenly breeze, completely unsore/untired legs. I knew this commute to work will be special. Previously, I did it in 14:31, then I improved on it with 13:46 assisted by pouring rain, but this morning, for whatever reason, I was pedaling like my life depended on it. Ran a few extra lights and stops, but hey, what do you expect from the Street Pedalers branch of the C2D team. 13 minutes 18 seconds. That's about 18mph average.
You think your commute means business? Well, hate to break it to you, but you need to go a little faster.

Smashed it
Today I smashed the record. Back in the days of the Blue Whale high 16's, low 17's and lazy 18's were the norm for the 3.7 mile Bedstuy-Dumbo track, but that time is long gone. I must say, these are relaxing in the saddle early morning miles, and granted that 12-13's are easily possible with speed on the mind. Switching to a proper bike alone cut two to three minutes off my morning commute, and this mornings 14.31 is not the limit. I know that Malum has more in it, even though this might be the fastest morning home-to-work commute so far, there are seconds upon seconds to cut in a dozen places.
