NS Capital - Updated

Decided to snap a few shots of the Cap before I put the 2" Yowelli Tittie Bars on. Also, finally got around to building up a new back wheel with a nice old school Odyssey Hazard hub with 12T and put a 29T Tree Lite splined sprocket upfront. I must say I'm enjoying this weird ratio. Need to put a new chain on, as this current one has seen better days. The 2" Yowellis are on now, but they need to be chopped down from 30+" to about 28" - but I must say they feel good. Added a Knog flashy light on there too. Note the duct tape cable holder jobby and half removed underpaint decals. Damn bike is lookin raggedy as hell - a rat rod if I must so say. I gotta put some time into this puppy and get it looking sharp.

Reminiscing the Tonic - swapping 4x lowers

It hasn't been that long, but I already miss this frame.

For the large part of my Tonic Fallguy relationship, the frame rocked a Sherman Jumper fork. Towards the last third of it, the Jumper was swapped out for a Marzocchi 4x (Nemesis tuned, sort of a big deal back in late '90s).

It originally came with white lowers, and I rode it like that for about a week, but promptly thought better of it once I got into a nasty altercation with Fashion Police. I faced serious jail time if I didn't swap out the forks white lowers for black - and not only that - disc brake tabs HAD to be shaved off. Fuck the cops.

Anyway, I don't want no trouble (double negative to confuse the law). Below is the photographic evidence from the case that I used in the court - C2D lawyer recently notified us that it's now ok for us to share them with you.

Yowelli Lowelli 1" Rise Bars + NS Capital

I been riding the 3.5" Yowelli ODB bars for the past few months and they have been lovely, but when he mentioned that he had some new 1" bars in the works I got a bit excited - I prefer suspension on my dirt jump bike. So I threw them on last night, swapped the NS RNS2 fork for my old Marzocchi 4x and took the Cap out for a little night ride. Too early to tell, but on initial impression I'm enjoying the bars, alot. Can't wait to hit some dirt. What ya'll think? And oh yea, they are at 30 ridiculous inches right now - so I have like 2 inches sticking out on each side when I grip. Might chop an inch of each side tonight.
