Join In On The Hot Debate: Does Papa Johns Suck?

I mean, sure this guy likes it, but what about the common human that weighs less than a piano... I hate Papa Johns, but in true debate fashion, Curtis strongly disagrees. We encourage you all to weigh in on this topic by voting on the poll to your right. Feel free to leave comments and stories on how much you love or hate the PJ's product. Maybe you had gay sex with the delivery man and that's why you like their pizza so much. Maybe you ate 2 slices dipped in garlic butter and vomitted all over the place. With papa johns, i guess anything can happen.

let me weigh in here....PJ is not Good pizza, but its OK pizza. compared to its nationwide rivals (Domino's, Little Caeser, Pizza Hut) it is actually probably the best. but compared to Real pizza from any local spot its probably garbage. but when my coworkers order it and i don't throw in for it i'll still eat 6-8 slices no problem...

i'd say out of all the ones u mentioned, pizza hut is the best - but it also costs the most $$

C apparently missread the part of the post where i said "and if all the conditions are right". When the conditions are right - i could eat a pet monkey.

When I was a kid, nothing could beat little ceasers and their crazy bread. Now, it tastes like cardboard. Too bad. I agree, of all the nation wide pizza chains, I would take pizza hut, hands down. Stuff crust or no stuff crust, hell, maybe I just want that salad bar!!! Mmmmmmmmm

First and foremost, no one's touching Little Ceaser's. Pizza Pizza and Crazy Bread FTW All day every day.

Unfortunately, NYC has never been able to sustain a Little Ceaser's (2 attempts have been made so far). My thought: it's just too good for NYC and they have embarrassed a Famous Ray's.

Papa John's, a good 2nd choice.

In 3rd, the $1 slices at 2 Brothers Pizza on St. Mark's: delicious.

i would agree about Pizza Hut if we were talking back in the 80's. it was like a sit-down restaurant with some gourmet pizza. Little Caesars was the best takeout you could get back in the day.
maybe its just worse in AZ, but i would probably hit up Wendy's before i would get either the Hut of Caesars pizza out here. total shit. i actually prefer the Jack's frozen pizza they sell at the gas station here to either of those.

2 Brothers was going to be a post all on it's own. I like 2 Brothers, and I eat there since it's dirt cheap and around the corner from my job. The one thing I don't like about 2 Bros is the stigma from eating there or standing in line. That place caters mostly to junkies, the homeless, and high school/NYU students. That doesn't stop me from going there, but I won't lie, I like to eat as quickly as possible so no one sees me walkin around with that paper plate and be confused for a homebum....

Here's the truth. Make your fucking own, faster than delivery. Flatbread, toasted in the oven @ 450 for two minutes, then slather it with some pizza sauce (make ya own there too and keep it in the freezer), fresh mozzarella, and whatever other toppings you want. Mine's been priscutto and red onion lately. Shove it back in the oven for 5-8 minutes. Eat it. Drink beer.

If you didn't have me out blacktopping the parking lot of c2d's HQ, I'd make some.
