Black Screen / Frozen PS3 Solution for GTA V Online Update

I had been getting frustrated for a few days now.   I've tried all the solutions I read about online, but nothing worked.    Everytime I would try to download the update I would either get a frozen black screen, a stalled out download, or a frozen download screen where I'd have to pull the plug.   I spent 4 hours trying different variations until on the 3rd day I decided to bypass my router and go straight from the modem to the PS3.   The damn thing downloaded and installed instantly and in a few minutes I was at the character building menu.    All this time, it was the old Linksys router.    I guess time for a replacement.   I just wanted to share this as I'm sure someone else is in my shoes, cursing the PSN network and Rockstar, but all along is was my outdated router.

Old Mixtape I Used To Play to Death Back In 96

I was still in High School when I got this, and I was so obsessed with all the clean cuts and blends and it was just so smooth.  A lot of Mobb Deep, Hell On Earth just came out, and lotsa other Queens stuff.   This wasn't the crazy scratchin level of the Scratch Pickle tapes, but just like, classic tape for the whip.   Thanks internet for re-introducing me to this bad boy (no Bad Boy on here, no love for shiny suits).  Ignore all the shouts and shit in the intro, that goes away a few minutes in.

Guru Tribute Mixes

What can you say, Guru was at the top. I had to have EVERY Gang Starr record, period. Was it mostly the voice? The positivity? I ain't gonna go on and on, but dude was a HIP HOP GIANT!!! Moment of Truth cd's played til the don't play anymore (don't worry, the vinyl is still in good shape). His verses ring in my head out of nowhere, 15 years later. That is the sign of a true MC.
