Black Screen / Frozen PS3 Solution for GTA V Online Update

I had been getting frustrated for a few days now.   I've tried all the solutions I read about online, but nothing worked.    Everytime I would try to download the update I would either get a frozen black screen, a stalled out download, or a frozen download screen where I'd have to pull the plug.   I spent 4 hours trying different variations until on the 3rd day I decided to bypass my router and go straight from the modem to the PS3.   The damn thing downloaded and installed instantly and in a few minutes I was at the character building menu.    All this time, it was the old Linksys router.    I guess time for a replacement.   I just wanted to share this as I'm sure someone else is in my shoes, cursing the PSN network and Rockstar, but all along is was my outdated router.

PS3 Trophy Swag

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that you're not on level 7 with 328 trophies... didn't mean to brag. Being ranked #19,322 in the World on Playstation Network is no easy job, but to be honest, I do it with ease cause I'm passionate about it. Perhaps you should go to PS3TrophyCard and get your own to show off. Boom.

Wu Tang Playstation Controller + Burger King Cologne

A few years back there was this tottaly awesome game called Wu Tang: Shaolin Style.
It was a fighting game for the original Playstation and it featured all 9 Wu members + a dozen other weird characters. The game RULED. Everything from Methods huge sledge hammer to Raekwons quick boxing style to exclusive tracks made just for the game - it was great.

There is ONE thing i didnt know about, and its this. The exclusive, limited edition WU controller that came out with the limited edition of the game. God damn it.
I would love to get a hold of one of these but they cost like 100gs on ebay, easy. Maybe more.


Probably even more then the exclusive Burger King cologne that was released by The King. I picked up a few bottles to sell on ebay and to make millions. Millions. Shit smells horrible - kind of like skii wax and pine needles. Where is the flame broiled taste I was promised??? You're telling me I paid $3.99 for this and it smells this bad? I wasnt expecting some Juan Paul Gaultier aroma, but this is not good at all. Still awesome. And I love it. Weird huh?

Mirror's Edge Rocks and 2D Game

Earlier this week EA/Dice released a pretty slick game called Mirror's Edge... Behind the evil government terrorism shmeal plot there is a pretty cool parkour gameplay concept that is damn fun. Judging by the demo, the game is mighty sweet, since you get to leap across rooftops and run on walls 30 floors up, all from first person view, which is a first for this type of game. Controls are simple and very straightforward which lets your just flow the obstacles.

Some people created a 2d version of the game. Granted its no where near as fun as the original - but its a neat waste of 5 minutes. Check it out.
