Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars release party tonite at the Nintendo World Store - Rockefeller Plaza. It's free, tonite from midnite til 2am. They are givin away all sorts of shit, but lets face it, DS sucks so just go to see OhNo cuz he's the bomb!

GTA 4 gets a Trophy Patch October 27th

Long overdue, GTA 4 will finally get a trophy patch, even though its not retroactive. If you dont know what trophies are, Google can help you, but I'm definitely excited about this. I never finished GTA4 so starting over just to get all the trophies isn't THAT big of a deal for me - but if you're one of the people who beat EVERYTHING, this might be a bitch.
October 27th, Nico will arrive in NYC once again. Along with sackboy but thats a whole other story.

GTA5????

Yes, what looks to be an official release from Rockstar, GTA Casablanca will be hitting the shelves and Arabic forum sites everywhere. Quite the comeback right on the heels of GTA4, but this does look promising.

Anyone brave enough to trust the download can give it a shot, not sure if its a video or a game or what though.

Obama, droppin names....

Looks like everyone is trying to cash in on the GTA hype... even ol' Obama. Carefully sneaking in a GTA refrence into his speach - perhaps in an effort to get some extra hits on Google? Maybe not.... I must agree with most of his points though.

"I was just catching the news this morning about Grand Theft Auto, this video game, which is gonna break all records and make goo-gobs of money for whoever designed it. Now, this isn't intended for kids, although I promise you there are kids who are playing it, but these video games are raising our kids... Across the board, middle-class, upper-class, working-class kids, they're spending a huge amount of their time not on their studies, but on entertainment."

And so part of our job is going to have to be to inspire the entire country to say, 'How are we giving our kids a thirst for knowledge?' And turning off the TV set, and getting them to be engaged and interested, like their future really does matter on how well they do in school."

This should be fun. A week before the game drops, there seems to be a pile of fun events/parties to promote it and such. DJ Premier spinning music - now thats official. I'm there.
