Fun'n'Games V24 - Forza 4

Never thought I would say this - but I think I might have to buy a Xbox 360. Forza 4 is looking beyond ridiculous. Racing looks great, sure, but the Autovista mode that tells you all about each car, personally recorded by Jeremy Clarkson of the Top Gear fame ..... ooooooooooh. SIGN ME UP.

Netflix to become Quikster and Netflix

Hmmm. Sure, its kind of neat that you will now be able to rent video games along with movies, but this split is kind of weak. I guess they want to be able to jack each price individually as time goes on. I will still have the DVD by mail and the streaming option, but this does feel like a bit of a greedy move. Time will tell. By now surely every Netflix subscriber has received the same email in their inbox. It didnt need to be that long, what a crap-pile of words. A few did stick out though... Actions speak louder than words. But words help people to understand actions. I believe in change, and this one may not be a bad one.

Fuck me. That's how I'm going to start out this post. If you're not a videogamer - good for you, you're saving your time/money/braincells/jesus. Very nice. I'm a videogamer. And as a seasoned videogame nerd I'm telling you - THESE TWO GAMES WILL BE THE NIPPLES.
We here at C2D Headquarters are already scheeming on a all night party when Just Cause 2 drops. Next month. I swear. I really really want to write something convincing here to make those who do not care pick up these games - but in actuality - I want these all for myself. To better my chances of picking these up the second they are popped on the shelf, I'm encouraging all of you to forget you saw this post just like you were going to anyway. But if you care - watch the videos below and say it with me. WOW.

Videogames suck aka Playstation 3 - the best of the worst

I like 'em. Apparently most do not. What are you gonna do?
I guess its safe to presume that no one cares that I'm 56% complete with Dirt Tour in Dirt2 - and that's good, I'd like to think that Playstation3 and I have this special bond that no one else shares. Sounds creepy? Sure. Is it fun? Yes.

Speaking of PS3 - it's in the first place with 53%, followed by Xbox360 with 26%. Good. At least people who DO play play the right system. Keep them trigger fingers flexin.

Dirt 2 and video games

Dirt 2 came out this past tuesday. I love racing games, rally especialy, so naturally I picked it up. And? Its awesome. I love it. This might just be the best racing game I've ever had. The feeling of racing from the cockpit/hood camera is unsurpassed. Sense of speed, engine noise, different road textures playing around with the grip... what a great time.
Now of course NFS Shift is dropping next week - and its going to be sweet as well, AND, I might have to pick that one up too. Just doing my part. Then we got Uncharted 2 half way through October - and then GranTurismo 5 is finaly dropping. Busy busy busy.


That of course brings us to the main point. Why does it seem that C2D readers don't play videogames. I mean, 100s of visitors a day, and only 7 voted on the videogame system poll? Pathetic. Do me a favor, go to a videogame store, buy yourself a PS3/Xbox360 (don't bother with the Wii unless you're 11 or are retarded) , and have a god damn blast. Don't forget to pick up a huge 1080p LCD, or it just won't be the same. Go on.

GTA4 - 4 Radio Stations Revealed.

38 more days until birth.
Rockstar gave us a taste of the madness to come, this time by giving us a little selection of the radio stations we'll be flipping through while speeding down Liberty City sidewalks, running from the law.
Peep the link below for the sampling. Its not bad, we got soul and afrobeat, we got party hits, we got a talk show stuff - most interesting to me is the "Vladivostok" station. For those who dont know, Vladivostok is the MOST south eastern point of Russia - the last stop in the Trans-Siberian railroad. Next stop - China "type of thing". First two tracks previewed for the station are "interesting" - the last one is kind of dope. Forget it, all of it is dope - so fresh to hear the language/humor that most will miss and ONLY the Russian speaking GTA4 players will catch. Basically, if you wanna know whats up - you better play GTA4 with me.

Surely most of you preordered this months ago, but for those who haven't - its dropping today. An addictive Burnout series gets blessed with the latest addition: Burnout Paradise. With never seen before ingame online multi-player integration and most realistic car damage model EVER, this game is redunkulous. PICK IT UP for your PS3, or i guess your xbox360 (if you're into that sort of thing)
