Dirt 2 and video games

Dirt 2 came out this past tuesday. I love racing games, rally especialy, so naturally I picked it up. And? Its awesome. I love it. This might just be the best racing game I've ever had. The feeling of racing from the cockpit/hood camera is unsurpassed. Sense of speed, engine noise, different road textures playing around with the grip... what a great time.
Now of course NFS Shift is dropping next week - and its going to be sweet as well, AND, I might have to pick that one up too. Just doing my part. Then we got Uncharted 2 half way through October - and then GranTurismo 5 is finaly dropping. Busy busy busy.

That of course brings us to the main point. Why does it seem that C2D readers don't play videogames. I mean, 100s of visitors a day, and only 7 voted on the videogame system poll? Pathetic. Do me a favor, go to a videogame store, buy yourself a PS3/Xbox360 (don't bother with the Wii unless you're 11 or are retarded) , and have a god damn blast. Don't forget to pick up a huge 1080p LCD, or it just won't be the same. Go on.

Them Bling Bling FiveTen Freerider

Snap.
There are these riding shoes out there, FiveTen Freerider is the name. Sure sure, not the cutest mountain slippers out there, but they have this magic sole (supposedly) that is giga sticky to such things as....... bike pedals! I've been meaning to get some regular and strange 5.10s for a while now - but the looks of them just dont do it for me. So when I found out that there will be a freeride specific, yet more conventionaly appealing pair of 5.10s comming out, I was as excited as one can be for some riding shoes - because after all, there could never be too much grip between soles and pedals. Unless of course you take your feet off the pedals for stunts - which I most scertaintly do not.

But here comes the snappy part. These puppies are 95$. They dont look any different then any other skatey/bikey/Van-ster shoe, yet they are twice the price like some purple neon limited Nike Dizzydunks. Hmm.

Now normaly, I tear through riding shoes like nada. A few months maybe. And these are supposed to be super soft and grippy.... which could potentialy mean they will wear out that much quicker - just like sticky tires. Am I wrong? Am I right? Should I just read some reviews to find out how long these last? What should I have for breakfast besides this coffee? Why is it so fuckin cold out and its end of March?

I just dont know. But I might buy these - call me George, cuz I'm curious. Get it?

Top Gear Ford Fiesta vs Obama

Top Gear UK. I love this show. I heard its comming to US, I just hope its not gonna be as shitty as the Top Gear Australia - which is, quite honestly, pathetic.

If you're not familiar with Top Gear UK its obvious you don't care about cars what so ever. Or perhaps you do care about cars but........... well, no, sorry, you just dont.

Anywhoozers... like the cool car caring fella I watch Top Gear religiously. They have the most insane reviews, comparisons, races, whatever. What other program races Double Decker and Bendy Busses or Soviet Era Lada vs Mosckvich and such.

The below review is a cause of a viewer writing a letter to Top Gear and claiming they dont do conventional reviews anymore. This viewer complained that all they do is set motorhomes on fire and launch them of cliffs while shooting machine guns in their general direction. So one of the hosts, Jeremy Clarkson decided to do a proper, well thought out, old fashioned review.

Please do me a favor and watch this to the end. First few minutes could be boring... but then all hell breaks loose. Yes, its a Ford Fiesta. And if this doesnt entertain you, you dont like cars - you may return to complaining about Obama electing too many rightists as his crew.
