GTA 4 gets a Trophy Patch October 27th

Long overdue, GTA 4 will finally get a trophy patch, even though its not retroactive. If you dont know what trophies are, Google can help you, but I'm definitely excited about this. I never finished GTA4 so starting over just to get all the trophies isn't THAT big of a deal for me - but if you're one of the people who beat EVERYTHING, this might be a bitch.
October 27th, Nico will arrive in NYC once again. Along with sackboy but thats a whole other story.

GTA IV Players Get Infected by Zombies

Attention Citizens,

There is a virus sweeping through Grand Theft Auto IV turning many unsuspecting players into Zombies. If you've seen the special Zombie-with-yellow-briefs player skin running around during Grand Theft Auto IV multiplayer, then you may already know that the virus can be contracted in any and all multiplayer modes and is spread when an unsuspecting player kills someone who has the infection.

With the all-new Viral Infection feature at the Rockstar Social Club, members can now see whether they are currently infected, the number of total global infections and the number of infectinos in the last 24 hours. Digging deeper, Social Club members can also browse a color-coded world map tracking the spread of the infection worldwide, including breakdown for all 50 US States.

GTA4 Skatepark

I'm yet to beat the game's story, simply because I spend way too much time jumping stairs and doing gnarly wallrides on many of bikes all around Liberty City.
Yes, there are a few ramps by Brooklyn Banks in Manhattan, but the best ramp park by far is in games version of NJ - in Westminster in midwest of the island. You could get to the skatepark by helicopter or by car. Plenty of jumps, wedges and halfpipes to get your ride on. Fun Fun - just dont let the bike fall on top of you or its a long way from a hospital.

Obama, droppin names....

Looks like everyone is trying to cash in on the GTA hype... even ol' Obama. Carefully sneaking in a GTA refrence into his speach - perhaps in an effort to get some extra hits on Google? Maybe not.... I must agree with most of his points though.

"I was just catching the news this morning about Grand Theft Auto, this video game, which is gonna break all records and make goo-gobs of money for whoever designed it. Now, this isn't intended for kids, although I promise you there are kids who are playing it, but these video games are raising our kids... Across the board, middle-class, upper-class, working-class kids, they're spending a huge amount of their time not on their studies, but on entertainment."

And so part of our job is going to have to be to inspire the entire country to say, 'How are we giving our kids a thirst for knowledge?' And turning off the TV set, and getting them to be engaged and interested, like their future really does matter on how well they do in school."

GTA4 - 4 Radio Stations Revealed.

38 more days until birth.
Rockstar gave us a taste of the madness to come, this time by giving us a little selection of the radio stations we'll be flipping through while speeding down Liberty City sidewalks, running from the law.
Peep the link below for the sampling. Its not bad, we got soul and afrobeat, we got party hits, we got a talk show stuff - most interesting to me is the "Vladivostok" station. For those who dont know, Vladivostok is the MOST south eastern point of Russia - the last stop in the Trans-Siberian railroad. Next stop - China "type of thing". First two tracks previewed for the station are "interesting" - the last one is kind of dope. Forget it, all of it is dope - so fresh to hear the language/humor that most will miss and ONLY the Russian speaking GTA4 players will catch. Basically, if you wanna know whats up - you better play GTA4 with me.

GTA 4 Hype Train #1

Get ready. This right here is hype train number uno out of infinity. Can you be more excited for GTA4 more then me? Doubt it, but try it anyway. I'm so ready to do some dounuts in Times Square and killing some NYPD, ooops, I mean LCPD. On and on.... Peep the pics.
