Pride Street Once Again

When we first mentioned Pride Street Frames waaay back there was alot of unknowns. There are still some unknowns about the frames, as far as we know, but they are very close to being available. There are 14x110 and 10x135 versions of both 24" and 26" frames - alot more information can be found throughout VVCForce. I'm really liking the funky black finish, so fresh. Look for a VVCForce interview here on C2D soon!

Extreme Gaping!!!

oh wait... I think i meant extreme gapping. Is there a difference?

looks like fun, kinda like urban downhilling, but it also seems a bit like snowboarding in the early 90's with colorful hats and shit. not sure why i get that vibe tho..., not in a fashion sense either. maybe it's how the vid is put together. oh well, i still like it.

We Are For The Sports

The title of this is "We Are For The Sports". Funny how alot of people don't consider the biking that we do a sport, while standing around for hours, AKA baseball is a sport and a half. This right here sure is one way to get exercise, 18 threes in the row, not bad at all. One day I'll be able to bust one of those.

Like I've said before, VVCforce is thecomeupbmx of big wheel world without the shitty attitude and without posting videos they hate just for getting those extra visitors. It's all good at VVCforce. Hey! How about that T? Keep up the good work.

Htown Skatepark

Haven't been to Hackettstown skatepark in forever. Its out there in dirty jerz, about an hour or so from BKNY C2D HQ BOOM. Went there a dozen times in 2005-2006 and then stopped, because..... I really don't have a good reason for that one. Over the past few years they remodeled it a bit, added some sweet new ramps. I must must must go there immediately. Maybe this week? Deffinately next. Check out the lil vid below to see the new setup - excited for all the new stuff.

Good times @ Cunningham Park

Great time at Cunny this Saturday. Txtd El Donde, jumped in the rally car and it was dumplings. Peep the footy. Tufino and TheTruth came through with edits. Respek. Traded my wheels for a Riot for a session and it was stable as hell. I need wider bars. Enjoy and speak on it.

Secret low res footy, so the identity remains a mystery.

Pride-Street Frames - Russia keeping it lucrative

Pride-street, a Russian bike co that doesn't even have a website yet, but the hype is already there. Seems like everywhere you look, as long as you look outside US of A, everyone is talking about these upcoming frames. They dont seem to do anything to drastically different. Eventhough there are no official numbers yet, from what I gathered here and there its going to be about 4.2 lbs, nice and short, integrated hs, no seat clam = wedge post is a must. Both 24 and 26 versions will be available. But the best part? Handbuilt in Russia!

I have 4 bikes as of now, 2 of which are generic catalog brands, another 1, my freeride/dh Transition Bottlerocket - while not generic, is pretty popular, and 1 that is unique, uncommon, a hand full of people have them, a gem - my Tonic Fallguy. I only know of 1 other person here in immediate NYC who rides a Tonic. I've had it for over 4 years and as the time to upgrade is upon me, it appears that another Fallguy is not in the cards - there are none to be bought unless I want used or wait until spring for a Taiwan version - something I most definitely do not want.
Pride-street to the rescue! I hope.... and soon!

I took these photos from the super awesome VVCFORCE blog, which never fails to deliver some good big bike news - I've mentioned it before and will surely mention it again. Check it out - and more importantly, check out the photos of the frames.

Hammer and Sickle as a head badge? YES PLEASE! Hopefully its possible to get a 24 with that on. These frames are obviously unfinished in these photos, but it would be neat to get that clearcoated and ride it raw like that....

The Most Entertaining Entertainment

The numbers don't lie (usually). There are nearly 7 billion people in the world, we surveyed 28 - which is pretty close to half of one millionth of a percent. Hard work, but someone had to do it.

What did we gather you ask? Something we already knew - riding bikes is BY FAR the MOST entertaining thing to do on a weekend.
Thanks Captain, you say. But wait, there is more! Chilling and relaxing was a close second, followed by video games and hobby time. What does this all mean? Its pretty straight forward, really. If you want to have yourself some fun this coming weekend - hop on the bike then play some videogames. Dont bother with sexytime - most people would rather grill some food or watch a movie. But is it a coincidence that sexy time and road trip both got 6 votes? Does this imply that people are getting road head or get it on at a hotel? Pulling over and getting freaky in the back seat? Or are we talking pocket pool here? Punching the dolphin? Slapping the clown?

Look, our job here at C2D is to bring you the facts, to give you the tools. We cut up the wings for you, diss the little retarded part, but YOU'll be the one heating up the oil, deep frying the fuckers, meanwhile getting some butter/Franks/vinegar going, mixing the whole thing up, then eating it. If we're the Nobel Prize, you'll have to be Obama. We'll put the food in your mouth, but we ain't chewing it for you - that's disgusting.

Highbridge Skatepark makes bicyclists happy

Our C2D spy got some potential pics of the concrete rampwork that may or may not happen at Highbridge park uptown Manhattan. This would be ultimately exciting, since the dirtjumps/skatepark combo could be a superfun way to spend a day! I sure hope this happens and happens soon. Who's excited?
