freestyle warning
Yoni just sent me this sweet video featuring Adam Hauck and David Holzer.
"so the story behind this one is that it was supposed to be a promo video for black market and thrashbike.com. Adam was going to throw a huge double tailwhip off that jump. We reached the spot too late in the day and by the time we started filmin, there wasn't enough light to get a dialed shot. As you can see, some riding did go down. A re-shoot was planned but ended up not happening. Maybe next time."

Street Science - Vol 5 - Buenos Aires
El Buenos Aires edition, chicos!
Mad spots to ride all over that damn town. Plentiful architecture that focuses on beauty and aesthetics and NOT on making sure its not ridable/skateable/parkourable.
This ledge was perfect - at least for a beginner like me. Not extreme, nice and long. Fun for days.

Sweet banks # 113,129,398. Everywhere.

Tioga Power Blocks - Lighter then FS100?

My boy Tim brought these tires to my attention - pattern looks good when compared to the similar FS100s. FS's proved to be mighty street tires, since they roll super smooth, felt pretty light for a non folding rubber, yet are sturdy enough for NYC street glass warfare. Seems like the addition of mini knobbies on the sides will sharpen up handling when the leaning gets mean, while the bigger wider smooth knobs down the middle will ensure straight line speed. Obviously comes in 24", or it wouldn't be C2D material.
I will deffinately get my hands on a set and see whats what, since my ultra sexy Schwalbe Tabletop front tore a sidewall and exploded in the midle of the night. This is a bit of a side story, but let me tell you, when you have close to 70psi in a mounted tire, and it explodes - it littearaly sounds louder then a gunshot - and I know, being a russian youth you were more or less required to spit off a handfull of live AK47 rounds in preparation for the imminent threat of the capatalist and bourgeoisie pig. It was comming around to be 9pm, nice quite evening, a little bit of Air mixing its melody with candles and a bing bing. A floor session.... then BOOM!!! It was such a shock, my hands were litteraly shacking for 5 minutes - and the thought of permanent damage crossed my mind. Brutal.

The New Duffs - Brooklyn
For a while Duffs bar in Williamsburg on N3rd was the after ride fill up station. They have an outdoor patio, $1 PBRs, Caddy hearse and a huge Slayer posters front and center - pretty much everything you could want/need after jibbin the streets for hours and craving a refreshing beverage. I guess the place could have used a few strippers from Atlanta and free piff, but since they serve drinks and we're in NY full nudity wouldn't be allowed anyway so there is really no point to that. Forget that I mentioned anything about strippers from Atlanta. Aaaaanywho, the place is no more. It moved right next to the Macry Ave J train stop. Now it has no patio, but bikes are still allowed in, which is a bonus. Still cheap PBRs, but the decor definitely changed up a bit. It remains a choice spot, and it will definitely be frequented this spring and summer as we hit the streets in search of fresh new stunt locations. Enjoy the photo captures - it took our resident C2D photographer 3 or 4 cans of brew to get the lightning and composition just right. Perfect.

C2D Secret Training Grounds Bike Park Spizot
So someone told you that all them ILLMATIC tricks you see Create2Destroy team whip out at competitions and demo's are a god given gift. So someone told you that they think you'll never be able to ride as good as them? Look, they are right. BUT!!!! with some practice you might be able to mimic some of their moves. HOWEVER, you'll never be able to afford a training compound as wicked as theirs. Peep the pics. This gem of a spot is hidden in deep, deep Brooklyn. We're talking where Park "Killa" Slope meets Carroll "Murdah" Gardens. Wear a vest style, you know? Its so serious over here, stay in Harlem, Bx, or Shaolin where streets are as soft as fresh sushi rolls. Feel me? Smell me? We'd show you some action shots but we don't want anyone bitting our style. So peep the workstands instead.
