Park Slope A Bunch Of Bitches

So, if I get this story right, a bar is opening up where Royal Video used to be on Flatbush and 6th Ave and the neighborhood is downright SHOCKED AND OFFENDED that someone would DARE, DARE I SAY open a bar that plays HIP HOP MUSIC.   They got petitions going and all that to stop the bar, Prime 6, from playing this music that attracts such a dangerous crowd.  They are protesting, swarming community board
meetings and all that shit.

Here's an idea, if a sports bar that plays hip hop is that fucking offensive, get the fuck out of Brooklyn.  Brooklyn is pretty much the HOME of hip hop (next to the Bronx), so if you are scared of the "urban music" crowd this place will draw, LEAVE.

"It is completely in conflict with an internationally famous, family oriented
area...and everyone who has approached the owner has been rudely rebuffed”

Oh shit, look at ya'll, yer "internationally famous" and don't deserve this kind of treatment.   Hell you even act like rappers.   "You don't know who I am bitch, I'm Mcnasty MC!   I'm internationally famous."
"Internationally Famous"

Seriously, check out their petition site, check the signatures too for extra goodness.

It's not like they are opening up on a residental block, this is FLATBUSH AVE.   Are you trying to preserve the wholesomeness of Yummy Taco??   I can't wait to see your petitions and protests when the stadium comes up and you get flooded with more "urban music" fans.

Park Sloper suburbanites even go as far as to point out tracks on a MIX CD hosted on Prime 6's Facebook page.   Yes, "Motha Fucka I'm Ill" is spelled incorrectly, but does that really concern you?   Or are you upset that they are using a Weezy sample for a chorus?

Just look what rap music did to us, can someone please think of the children!!

Oh yea, since the poor unfortunate souls of Park Slope were too late to shut the place down (shoulda been there from the start, now he got his liqour license), there next step, petition for them to play other types of music.   Specificly they want "indie local artists" to be featured, not that hippity hoppity shit.    So, meet them half way Prime 6, why not play Indie Local Hip Hop.   You know, wholesome family fun like Necro  and Non Phixion.   Forreal tho, there is A LOT OF QUALITY INDIE HIP HOP IN NYC, so run with that.

Now is it too much to say PARK SLOPE DOESNT CARE ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE?

Or should we just stick with, ya'll some intolerant to diversity motherfuckers.   What else could you call it when people are bigots toward a certain music genre's fanbase?

I'm really curious, comment with your suggestions.

Something else to consider, Flatbush Ave at that intersection is like a 6 lane speedy highway.   I'd be more concerned with my stroller gettin slammed by a livery cab then my child's virgin ears getting ear-raped by rap music lyrics.  If you are worried about crime, you better outlaw dogs too, they seem to bring about a criminal element as well

If you really want a indie rock or indie artist or whatever the fuck you are arguing for, go to one of the 100 other bars like that to choose from.  Its really quite easy, if you can't deal with a multi-culti city like Brooklyn or NYC  MOVE somewhere else thats a bit more less "urban."
