Its The Mighty Mos Def

Most people recognize Mos Def from his roles in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Italian Job, Spin City, and The Chappelle Show or those Converse shoes he made. What you might not know is that he is a fuckin wicked ass MC. He was in this group called Blackstar, and man, they were so cool.

Alright, stop playin. Mos Def is the shit, and his live performances are the best, hands down. Seeing him perform with Hypnotic Brass Ensemble was honestly mind blowing. Well, coming up June 28th, you get the chance to see him at Carnegie Hall. Part of the JVC Jazz Festival, I'm sure this show will be worth a kidney. And to top it off, he's performing with Gil Scott Heron.

Format - the opening is today!

Nice. Another nice bike shop to add to the mix. Nigel Sylvester and some other peeps opened up a spot in Queens. Havent been there yet - opening is today - check it out. Looks like they got some nice kicks/threads as well - it has the makings of being fresh, no doubt.
